Alien Patterns in the Natal Chart
One of the most powerful experiences I get to have as an astrologer is witnessing the profound relief and self-acceptance that happens when a client “gets” their alien pattern. Sharing what these patterns are, how they challenge the native and those around them, and how the native can integrate and “own” these patterns is a spiritual initiation. I have seen people’s lives transform radically after one reading – the alien pattern constructs are that powerful.

What are the alien patterns?
Although there is another class of alien patterns known as “the adepts” (natives with no planets nor the Ascendant in either one of the elements or one of the modes), the most common alien pattern configurations involve a conjunction of the Sun, Moon or Ascendant with one of the transpersonal outer planets – Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto. These patterns give the native special abilities, such as an innate understanding of the true nature of time, the ability to see dead people, psychokinesis, or the ability to awaken the kundalini power in other people.
The outer planets tend to confer a special mission to the natives who have one of these conjunctions in the chart.
Saturn aliens are teachers and emotional transformers. The Saturn aliens are natural authority figures. They understand the true structure of reality and the non-linear nature of time. They push those around them to develop inner authority and take responsibility for their lives.
