Wow… Outstanding……! It has been a while… ⛵️……..Amazingly… Or not… Our drums seem much alike and I believe we are still in the same evolutionary “drum circle “in life . …sitting next to one another again. Synchronicity rocks. Great to hear your voice! Great to cross paths again in the coexistance of evolving vibration. This is the stuff that REALLY makes life cool! I am with you 100% on “the process.”…. Enjoying my own waves. I will be checking in and look forward to expanding WITH. what you have built and put out there. Roll with this!!! Your on to something. Good work… Do it to it… JOY IS KEY!! Thanks for the inspiration.
    Yours Truely, Angela Burton

Angela! Thank you. I feel you sitting next to me banging that gong. I want to hear your voice too. The last month has been totally mad hatter zone. Text me or let me know when is good time to talk. Big heart <3

Really enjoyed your podcast DK – would like more of the music – something about the song that reminded me of Crosby, Stills et al – that’s gotta be a good thing in my book! Keep sharing – abundant Taurean good wishes to you…xx

DK! Loving this. Listened to this on the day of the Taurus Full Moon. I am in this exact spot. Just ready to burst forth and create yet facing so much resistance in the form of perfectionism, not enough time, and so much fear of being seen! Ugh! Thank you for starting this and sharing your vulnerability. You help the rest of us know it’s OK!!

Your music and voice, WOW, LOVE IT, Please share more! I always found your voice to be super relaxing and in this way your ethereal qualities are unleashed to a whole dimension. YAY.

    • DK Brainard says:

Thank you Liz! We gotta help one another through this passage. I truly believe we are living in revolutionary times – it’s just a kind of revolution that we have little experience with. Although the Velvet Revolution in Czech Republic comes to mind….And THANK YOU for the kind words – going to share a lot more music in the coming months. Have been working behind the scenes for a long time now…

Love this, DK – – resonates on so many levels! I have a list of reasons that have kept me away from my blacksmithing equipment; I am going to see if I can whittle them down and get out there. Got to find my way to create for the universe. Thanks for putting this out!

    • DK Brainard says:

Yes, Jen! I mean, it’s not like the world is overwhelmed by a surfeit of blacksmiths. Send a picture of you sweating over the forge – that might inspire those of us with less physically demanding crafts to actually sit down and move our fingers over the keyboard…

Thanks for the kind thoughts! DK

DK – Just wanted to say – I’m there! Been thinking a lot lately about the things you were talking about, feeling this is the year to GO BIG OR GO HOME, as an artist – to fully put myself out there again after 11 years of being mom first. Its challenging, all the real world distractions and the internal chatter that shuts you right down. The timing on your podcast was perfect. I stopped what I was supposed to be doing and sorted through some images I’m excited about painting. Keep it coming! A big Mahalo!!!

    • DK Brainard says:

Hi Melinda! Thank you. Your art is amazing. Very different – at first I thought I was looking at a heavily-processed photograph, not a painting. Incredible portrait technique. Looking forward to seeing more!

I’m always struck by the way that your words, about your own process, fit like a key for me in my process…

I recently had the gift of going to the Grand Canyon for the first time. (There is no font big enough for the WOW.) I talked with the full moon while there and was looking forward to hearing “On the Moon”.
I didn’t get some of the words…it didn’t matter…I was swaying in my seat…LOVE it!!!
Can’t wait to hear the completed piece.

    MA

    • DK Brainard says:

Thank you Maryanne! Still haven’t seen the Grand Canyon but I’m pretty psyched that On the Moon was part of your soundtrack! I will get it finished pretty soon here. Love and good vibes to you!
